M and H class: with the hose disconnected, close
the suction inlet with the plug. Insert the hose ends
into each other so that no dust can escape from the
hose.
Secure the suction hose to the appliance using the
accessory fixture (29) and rubber (17).
The upper part (9) must be securely sealed to the
container (2) - check that the snap locks (15) are
closed.
The handles (8) and (16) are only
permitted for manual transport - not for
attachment to cranes or similar! Do not lift
either the vacuum cleaner or the suitcase
attached to the handles overhead of people.
11. Cleaning
11.1 General Cleaning Instructions
Clean the container and accessories with water.
Wipe the upper part (9) with a damp cloth.
Caution! This device contains dust that is harmful to
health. Discharge and maintenance operations
(including disposal of the dust collection containers)
must only be carried out by qualified specialists
wearing appropriate protective clothing and
equipment.
Emptying the Container
Only permitted for dusts with
occupational exposure limits > 1mg/m
- Remove battery pack. Secure against
unintentional startup.
- Open the snap locks (15). Remove the upper part
(9) of the device from the container (2).
- Tip out the container.
Disposing the fleece filter bag (26)
- Remove battery pack. Secure against
unintentional startup.
- Put on a dust mask.
- Open the snap locks (15). Remove the upper part
(9) of the device from the container (2).
- Close the fleece filter bag and pull upwards from
the fixture (25).
- Dispose of the vacuumed material in accordance
with legal regulations.
Disposal of the PE disposal bag (27)
- Plug in the charged battery pack.
- Switch on the vacuum cleaner and clean the filter:
Press the button (39) ('PressClean' see section
9.4).
- Switch off the vacuum cleaner: turn the switch (14)
to the "OFF" position.
- Put on a dust mask.
- Open the snap locks (15). Remove the upper part
(9) of the device from the container (2). Before
setting down the upper part, turn switch (14) to the
"ECO" position so that any falling dust is
vacuumed.
- Pull the PE filter bag (27) off the container, close
the bag and fix it with a cable tie.
- Dispose of the vacuumed material in accordance
with legal regulations.

12. Maintenance
12.1 General instructions
Before performing any maintenance, always
switch off the device and remove the battery
pack. Secure against unintentional startup.
Clean the device (see chapter 11.).
For maintenance by the user, the vacuum cleaner
must be taken apart, cleaned and maintained, to the
extent possible, without endangering maintenance
staff or other people.
Preventive measures
Appropriate preventive measures include: cleaning
the appliance before disassembly; providing local
filtered forced ventilation where the vacuum cleaner
is disassembled; cleaning of the maintenance area
and providing suitable personal protective clothing
and equipment.
12.2 Reduction in suction power
If the suction power decreases, carry out the
following steps:
1. Clean the filter (33): Press button (39)
('PressClean', see section 9.4)
2. Empty the container or replace the fleece filter
bag (26) or PE disposal bag (27).
3. Replace the filter (33), or shake it out, brush it off

or remove it, rinse under running water, dry and
reinsert (see section 12.3).
12.3 Replacing the filter
- Clean the filter (33) again before replacement:
Press the button (39) ('PressClean', see section
9.4).
- Remove battery pack. Secure against
unintentional startup.
- Open the snap locks (15). Remove the upper part
(9) of the device from the container (2).
See illustration E, page 2. Loosen closure (31) (see
imprint). Remove filter cover (32) and filter (33).
Seal the old filter immediately in a dust-tight plastic
bag and dispose of it in accordance with
regulations.
12.4 Water sensor
CAUTION- Regularly clean the mobile float
(35) that is incorporated in the filter cage (34)
and check it for signs of damage.
12.5 Technical inspection
At least once a year, the manufacturer or a suitably
qualified and trained person must carry out a dust
test, e.g. to check for damage to the filter, verify that
the device is air-tight and that the control unit is
functioning correctly.
For maintenance by the user, the vacuum cleaner
must be taken apart, cleaned and maintained, to the
extent possible, without endangering maintenance
staff or other people.
