23. Note: If you do not press any buttons within about 3 seconds, the appliance
automatically switches to standby mode, and the previous settings are
retained. The set temperature is displayed and the selected program flashes.
24. Finish by pressing the "Start/Pause" button; the appliance will start frying.
Removal of food
25. Remove the glass basket and check whether the food is cooked as desired.
If not, you can continue frying by returning the glass basket to the appliance
and setting the timer for a few more minutes.
26. Caution: Never turn the glass basket completely upside down. Any excess grease
from the food collects in the glass basket – danger of burns!
27. Therefore, use tongs to remove the food from the glass basket. Pay attention
to excess grease again.
28. Caution: Never place the glass basket directly on heat-sensitive surfaces;
always use the silicone mat which is included, or other heat-resistant pad.
29. If you wish to fry more food, you can start the frying process again right away.
Switching off the appliance
30. When you have finished cooking, press the "ON/OFF" button and unplug the
appliance from the power socket.
31. As long as it is connected to the power supply, the appliance will consume
a small amount of electricity; we therefore recommend that you always
disconnect the power plug when cooking is complete.
32. If you plug in the appliance again while it is still hot, the display will show
"Off" and the fan in the appliance will run until the appliance has cooled
down. When the fan stops, the appliance is in standby mode.
Caution: During and after use, the appliance, and especially the glass
basket and grate, are very hot – danger of burns! Touch only the handle of
the glass basket.
