13. If the appliance is cold, you must add about 5 minutes to the desired cooking
time to let the appliance heat up. Tip: You can also pre-heat the appliance

Continuation of program
17. To achieve better results, it may be necessary to shake (e.g. chips) or turn
(e.g. steaks) the ingredients in the glass basket halfway through the cooking
time.
18. To do so, use the handle to pull the glass basket out of the appliance. The
appliance switches off, and the time pauses. Gently shake the ingredients
in the glass basket. When cooking larger quantities, this process must be
repeated several times. Tip: To prevent the appliance from cooling down too
much, do not leave the glass basket out of the appliance for too long. Caution
– hot grease may splatter, causing burns!
19. Push the glass basket back into the appliance. As soon as the glass basket
is returned to the appliance, frying continues.
20. When the timer setting expires, three beeps sound and the appliance
switches off. Note: The fan in the appliance will continue to run for a while.
Frying with the user-defined program
21. Press and hold the "Function" button until the icon for the user-defined
program appears.
22. Now press the "Time/Temperature" button one, then select the desired time
using the "+" and "–" buttons. Then press the "Time/Temperature" button
again, and select the desired temperature using the "+" and "–" buttons.
You can set the time between 1 and 60 minutes in increments of one minute,
and the temperature between 65 and 200 °C in increments of 5 °C. If you
wish to adjust the time or temperature during operation, this is possible at
any time while the program is running.
