Application
The Snap-on Cordless Angle Grinder / Cut-off Tool is
ideal for a wide variety of material removal jobs in
both the industrial and automotive fields. When used
with Snap-on abrasive accessories, it provides the
quality and speed for greater job efficiency with less
operator fatigue. The rotating battery pack also adds
the freedom of movement not usually available with
products requiring air hoses or electrical cords.
Operation
Using the Side Handle and Side
Handle Extension
Figure 2: Side Handle Installation
A. Side Handle (Required)
B. Side Handle Extension(Optional )
1. Always use the included side handle when working
with the tool. For convenience, accessibility and
safety, the vibration damping side handle can be
attached to either the left or the right side of the tool.
Attach the side handle by inserting the threads into
the tool and turning the handle clockwise until secure.
2. The tool comes with a side handle extension piece to
increase the distance of the operator's hand from the
tool. This is helpful in reducing the force required to
resist tool rotation as well as keeping the operator
further from the abrasive debris.
Attaching and Changing the Safety
Guard
For safety reasons, always use the Type 27 guard
when performing grinding operations (Wheel types
27, 28 and 29). This guard must also be used for wire
brush wheels and sanding flap disc operations.
