Sterilisation Method
The sterilisable parts are manufactured with
materials that resist a maximum temperature
of 135 °C for a maximum time of 20 minutes.
Once individually bagged, carry out the steam
autoclaving process.
CAUTION: Use sterilisation bags
compliant with standard UNI EN ISO 11607-1.
The sterilisation process validated by Mectron
S.p.A., in an autoclave with steam, guarantees
a SAL 10
by setting the parameters indicated

below:
• Type of cycle: 3 times Pre-vacuum
(pressure min. 60 mBar).
• Minimum sterilisation temperature:
132 °C (interval 0 °C÷ +3 °C).
• Minimum sterilisation time:
4 minutes.
• Minimum drying time: 20 minutes.

Special Information
Sterilisation parameters, in steam autoclave, used in Great Britain:
• Temperature: 134° C;
• Time: 3 minutes.

All stages of sterilisation must be carried out
by the operator in compliance with the most
current version of standards: UNI EN ISO
17665-1, UNI EN ISO 556-1 and ANSI/AAMI
ST:46.
CAUTION: Do not sterilise the
air polisher device.
WARNING: Infection control -
Sterilisable parts
Carefully remove any residual organic matter
before sterilisation.
CAUTION: Carry out the sterilisation by
using only an autoclave with steam from
water. Do not use any other sterilisation
procedure (dry heat, irradiation, ethylene
oxide, gas, low temperature plasma, etc.).
CAUTION: Do not exceed the permissible
load of the steam-steriliser.
