INSTALLING WATER FILTRATION
Carefully read the following steps to install a new filter with housing:
- Mount the filter's housing on the back of the unit using the two screws provided with the brewer
- Tighten the screws to secure the housing on the brewer
- Connect water supply to the INLET port of the filter housing
- Connect a hose to the OUTLET port of the filter housing
- Direct the hose into a container or a sink, turn on water supply and allow at least 4 gallons of
water to pass through the filter
- Turn off water supply
- Connect filter to the Brewer, using a 3/4 inch BSP female fitting with inner gasket
Turn on water supply and check for any leaks.
FILTER REPLACEMENT
In case the housing is already present, replace only the old cartridge with a new one of the same
type without removing the housing from the brackets.
Follow the filler manufacturer's instruction to learn how to prime the new cartridge prior to instal-
lation, and how to properly dispose of the old one.
FIRST INSTALLATION
Connect the cable to a suitable electrical receptacle (see technical specifications for detail of
connection). Do not use extension cords. Where possible, keep the OC Brewer on a separate
circuit from other appliances to avoid accidental overload.
Turn brewer ON.
Once switched on, do not turn OFF unit unless safety rea-
sons require it: if turned OFF prior to completion, the instal-
lation cycle is considered incomplete and will start over the
next time it is turned on.
LANGUAGE (FACTORY SETTING = ENG)
Select language when prompted. If no selection is made within 10 seconds, last language
selected is used (typically English).
• ENG = English (Factory)
• ESP = Spanish
• FRA = French
• ITA = Italian
stEp 1 – FILLING (60 Seconds): Water should be heard filling
the Reservoir in back of Brewer before the pumps begin the
priming process.
WARNING: If water cannot be heard filling the
Reservoir first and/or Pumps start instantly, turn
Brewer OFF immediately and set aside - AVOID
