Before cleaning, stop unit operation with the remote controller and turn off the circuit breaker.

Do not expose the unit to water as it may cause an electric shock.

For cleaning inside the air conditioner, consult your sales agent.

Avoid using detergent when cleaning the heat exchanger of the indoor unit. Unit failure may result.
●
When cleaning the heat exchanger with a vacuum cleaner, make sure to wear gloves so as not to injure
●
your hands on the heat exchanger fi ns.
1. PRE-FILTER
Clean the Pre-fi lter, as it removes dust inside the room. In case the Pre-
fi lter is full of dust, the air fl ow will decrease and the cooling capacity
will be reduced. Further, noise may occur. Be sure to clean the Pre-fi lter
following the procedure below.

Pull the fi lter toward the center until it detached from the holders.
Then take it out from holders
(refer to diagram).

Remove dust from the fi lter using a vacuum cleaner. If there
is too much dust, use neutral detergent. After using neutral
detergent, wash with clean water and dry in the shade.

Install the fi lters.
Gently insert back the fi lter into the holders.

CAUTION
Do not wash with hot water at more than 40°C. The fi lter may shrink.

When washing it, shake off moisture completely and dry it in the shade; do not expose it directly to

the sun. The fi lter may shrink.
Do not operate the air conditioner with the fi lter removed. Dust may enter the air conditioner and

cause trouble.
