Operation indicator (green)
The green light is always on, indicating that the generator
set is working normally. If the red light is blinking or always
on, determine the cause of the failure based on the type of
blinking.
If this indicator lights up, the equipment will stop or stop generating electricity, to protect both the
connected devices and the generator itself. If the running indicator (green light) is off and the overload
indicator (red light) keeps on, the motor will not stop.
Trouble sign
When the overload indicator is on and does not generate output electricity:
1. Turn off the connected equipment, and turn off the generator engine next.
2. Make sure that the sum of the power of all the connected equipment is below the power of the gene-
rator.
3. Check that the air intake is not blocked and that there are no foreign bodies and damaged parts among
the parts involved.
4. After following the steps above, turn the computer back on.
Other information that the inverter generator will be showing us through its light indicators will be:
1. If the green light stays on and the red light flashes: it means that there is output voltage but there is a
little overload.
2. If the green light is off, and the red light has a flashing frequency of 2.5 seconds: it means that there is
no output voltage due to overload protection.
3. If the green light is off, and the red light flashes 2 times every 2.5 seconds: it means that there is a short
circuit and there will be no output voltage.
4. If the green light is off, and the red light flashes 3 times every 2.5 seconds: it means that the temperatu-
re of the controller is too high, and the user should cut off the voltage output.
5. If the green light is off, and the red light flashes 4 times every 2.5 seconds: it means the motor speed is
too low, and the user needs to cut off the voltage output.
6. If the green light is off, and the red light stays on: it means that the power of the equipment is insuffi-
cient for what is connected and the output voltage has been interrupted.
Reset and energy saving mode (ECO)
1. When a generator protection system has been activated, and we have already identified the problem
and solved it, we will need to press the Reset button to generate output voltage again.
If the fault has been fully resolved the green run light will remain on and the red overload lights will
neither flash nor stay on.
2. When the generator is in low workload mode (output power is below 75% of rated power), activate
energy saving mode by pressing the ECO switch.
3. When the output voltage of the generator is above 75% of the rated power, turn off the energy saving
mode by pressing the ECO switch again.
Ground terminal
The ground terminal is connected to the ground wire to prevent electric shock. When electrical equip-
ment is grounded, the generator must also be grounded.
