SENDING TEXT OR MULTIMEDIA
MESSAGES (SMS OR MMS)
To send a text message:
1. Go to the main menu and select the Messaging menu.
2. Press OK again to write a New message. Select New SMS.
Press OK to confirm
3. Type your text using the keypad.
4. Press Options and select Send to.
5. Use the
Insert contacts.
• Insert number: Press Edit, enter a number and press OK to
confirm.
• Insert contacts: Press Edit, use the
contact from the list, and press Options --> Mark --> Options -->
Done to confirm.
6. Press Options --> Send to send the message.
To change the input method, press the # key (ABC, Abc, abc or numbers).
To insert special characters, press the * key (use the
to move from left to right or press and hold these arrows to move up and
down).
NOTE: Sending MMS is similar to SMS. The main difference is adding
media. Use MMS to send attachments such as pictures or music files.
Managing messages
When you receive a new message, an alert is displayed on the main
screen. Press Read to read it or Exit if you would like to read it later.
Go to the Messaging menu to consult all sent and received messages:
Sentbox and Inbox. The other sub-menus are Drafts, Outbox
(all messages currently being sent), Templates, Voice mail server,
Message settings and Message capacity.
VOICEMAIL
To consult your voicemail (answering machine), press and hold the
key. If your SIM card does not recognize the Voicemail number, go to
