5.2 Device start-up
Status
A - Switch-on
B – Secondary module detection
C – Secondary module firmware updating in progress
D1 – Device awaiting configuration
D2 – Device configured but not operational
D3 – Device operational
Times: 0.25 s ON, 0.75 s OFF.

C status is only achieved when there are secondary modules to update. D1, D2 and D3 statuses are alternative to each other: the
first two are reached only during system installation and configuration. The three possible switch-on sequences are described below:
- First start-up: A, B, C (optional), D1. The device awaits configuration (via the stated software) and when obtained it is restarted,
running the next sequence.
- Start-up after configuration: A, B, C (optional), D2. The device waits to be put into operating status (to be done with the config-
uration software): on receiving the command, it goes into D3 status without restarting.
- Start-up in operating status: A, B, C (optional), D3.,

The outdoor station firmware can be updated using the Video Door IP Manager software: refer to the relative manual.

The firmware updating procedure of the electronic audio video module is performed in three steps, each of which is identified
by a specific aspect of the LEDs as indicated above. After updating, the device restarts automatically.
