2. Thread the inlet hoses onto the water faucets by hand until snug. Then using a
pair of pliers, tighten an additional two-thirds of a turn (MAXIMUM). Do not use
excessive force.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damage to the hose couplings, do not overtighten.
NOTE: To avoid damage to the faucets do not use plumber's tape or sealants on
the valve threads.
3. Thread the other end of the inlet hoses by hand onto the inlet valves marked
"H" (hot) and "C" (cold) on the back of the washer until snug. Then using a pair
of pliers, tighten an additional two-thirds of a turn (MAXIMUM). Do not use
excessive force.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that one hose connects the Hot water faucet to the Hot
water inlet valve and the other hose connects the Cold water faucet to the Cold
water inlet valve.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damage to the hose couplings, do not overtighten.
NOTE: To avoid damage to the washer inlet valves, do not use plumber's tape or
sealants on the valve threads.
4. Turn on the hot and cold water faucets and check for leaks. If there is any leaking,
check steps 1 through 3 again.
