Fault
No LED illuminates after
switching on.
Red LED illuminates
approx. 15 sec. after
switching boiler on.
After a long period of opera-
tion, boiler switches to fault
and red LED illuminates.
Green and red LEDs
illuminate as soon as boiler is
switched on.
Electric operation:
The water does not become
warm.
Water supply
Water taking an extremely
long time to heat up.
Water running out, cannot fill
boiler.
Cannot empty boiler, even
though safety/drain valve
is open.
Water dripping from draining
connection of safety/drain
valve.
If these measures do not remove the failure, please contact the Truma Service Centre.

Cause
–
No operating voltage.
–
Device fuse or vehicle fuse
defective.
–
If window switch present –
window above cowl open.
–
Gas cylinder empty.
–
Gas cylinder or quick-clo-
sure valve in the gas line is
closed.
–
Combustion air infeed or
exhaust gas outlet closed.
–
Battery voltage is too low
< 10.5 V.
–
Overtemperature monitor
has activated.
–
Gas pressure regulator
iced up.
–
Butane content in the gas
cylinder too high.
–
Battery voltage is too low
< 10.5 V.
–
Faulty electronic system.
–
Operation without water;
over-temperature fuse cuts
off the heating element.
–
Water container furred.
–
Safety/drain valve open.
–
Safety/drain valve draining
connection blocked.
–
Venting hose is closed.
–
The elbow connection on
the boiler is twisted.
–
Water pressure too high.
Rectification
–
Check 12 V battery voltage, charge battery if necessary.
–
Check all electrical connections and lines.
–
Check equipment 1.6 A fuse (see fuses) or vehicle fuse,
replace fuse if necessary.
–
Close window.
–
Replace gas cylinder.
–
Open valves and check gas infeed.
–
Remove the cap from the cowl or open the deck cowl.
–
Check openings for soiling (slush, ice, leaves etc.) and
remove if necessary.
–
Charge battery!
–
To unlock, switch device off, allow to cool and then switch
on again.
–
Use de-icing system controller (Eis-Ex).
–
Use propane. (At temperatures below 10 °C in particular,
butane is unsuitable for heating purposes.)
–
Charge battery!
–
Please contact the Truma Service Centre.
–
Switch off, wait 10 minutes, fill with water, switch on.
–
Descale water system (see maintenance).
–
Close safety/drain valve.
–
Check opening for soiling and remove if necessary.
–
Check opening (see above).
–
Check hose for kinks and remedy.
–
The venting hose on the elbow connection needs
to point upwards.
–
Check pump pressure (max. 2.8 bar). If connected to a
central water supply (rural or urban connection), a pressure
reducer must be used, which will prevent pressures higher
than 2.8 bar entering the boiler.
