5. Remove the battery (7) from the charger.
Attaching the polishing pad
to the polishing disc
1. Align the polishing disc (3) upwards.
2. Grasp a terry cloth polishing pad (5) or
a synthetic polishing pad (4) with both
hands and widen the elastic outwards.
3. Place the polishing pad (4/5) over the
edge of the polishing disc (3) at one point.
Pull the pad all the way around the edge.
4. Pull the polishing pad (4/5) centred
and tight onto the polishing disc (3).
Operation
Switching on and off
1. Insert the battery (7).
2. To switch on, tilt the on/off switch (2) to
position „I", the device turns on.
3. To switch off, tilt the on/off switch (2) to
position „0", the device turns off.
4. Firmly hold the device with both hands
on the handle (1).
The speed can be set using the
wheel on the front of the device.
Waxing/polishing paint
surfaces
1. Use the terry cloth polishing pad (5) for
applying polish.
2. Apply the wax or polish on a slightly
smaller area than the area you would
like to polish.
3. Work with the polish in a crosswise
movement or circular motions. Exert
only moderate pressure on the surface.
4. Please refer to the information from the
polish manufacturer.
Do not allow the polish to dry out.
There is a risk or surface damage.
Therefore, do not work in direct sun-
light or on a heated surface.
Dewaxing/polishing paint
surfaces
1. Use the synthetic polishing pad (4) to
remove wax.
2. Work in a crosswise movement or
circular motions. Exert only moderate
pressure on the surface.
3. Please refer to the information from the
polish manufacturer.
Cleaning and
maintenance
Switch off the device and re-
move the battery before car-
rying out any maintenance
work.
Have any work on the device
that is not described in this
instruction guide performed
by a professional. Only use
original parts.
Always check the device before using it for
obvious deficiencies such as loose, worn
or damaged parts, correct the position-
ing of screws or other parts. Examine the
polishing disc in particular. Exchange the
damaged parts.
Cleaning
Do not use any cleaning agent or
solvent. Chemical substances can
etch the plastic parts of the device.
Never clean the device under run-
ning water.
