When mounting in a cavity wall box, the minimum wall thickness for fire protection
walls must be observed in conjunction with the relevant national regulations.
With panic or emergency exit doors, a wall reader can be used against the escape
direction.
For use in the escape direction, they can only be installed in combination with an
escape route terminal.

Mounting condition
• At the installation site, there is a pre-installed flush-mount socket
in line with DIN 49073 in the wall.
• The flush-mount socket is clean and free of metal chips, wood
shavings, plaster residues and the like.
• The connection lead between the WTC 200 controller and flush-
mount socket has already been installed and connected to the
controller.
Mounting condition
• In order to ensure IP protection, the mounting surface of the wall
reader must be level / flat
• After 24 months of operation, carry out the following measures
to ensure IP protection:
• Check seal on mounting surface (wall)
• Check seal between mounting plate and surface-mounted frame
• -25 °C to 70 °C
