2.2 Proper use of the outdoor version

Outdoor use of the WRU 400 (outdoor version) is permitted as long as the installation
conditions described in 4.3 Installation conditions for outdoor versions WRU 400, page 77
are observed. Additional sealing components are required for this, which must be ordered
separately, see WRU 400 Installation instructions.

2.3 Improper use

Any use that is not mentioned in chapter 2.1 Proper use is considered improper. The following
list outlines examples of improper use:
• Outdoor use (except outdoor version
• Use in aggressive (containing salt or chlorine, for example) or damp environments
• Use in potentially explosive environments
• Use in the vicinity of electromagnetically sensitive devices
• Use in the vicinity of hot surfaces, heat sources, easily flammable materials or areas with
direct sunlight
• Omitting components during installation
• Changes to the installation order
• Use without emergency opening facility
• Use of defective or damaged components
• Use of non-original components
• Modification or repairs on the Dialock system components
• Use by persons who have not received instructions
