Meanings of the Status LED on the communication module
LED display
Description
Connection error.
If there is no WLAN connection:
Illuminated red
• Check the WLAN router. Router out of range
or switched off.
• Reset the WLAN connection if necessary.
Connection to the network but not to the internet.
Flashing red
Check your router configuration.
WLAN connection cleared or failed.
5 red flashes
The charging system is returned to Hotspot mode.
Illuminated
Hotspot mode active, ready to establish WLAN connection.
yellow
Additional instructions via the app.
Alternately
illuminated
WPS mode active.
yellow/green
Connection to the hotspot has been established:
Flashing yellow
• Follow the instructions in the app.
Connection to the router has been established.
Flashing green
Establishing a connection with the server.
Illuminated
Connection to the server has been established.
green
Communication module active and in power saving mode, or charging system switched off.
LED off
Briefly pressing the Connect button will indicate the current device state via the LED.
Resetting WLAN connection
1. Switch off the power supply for the charging system
and then switch it back on after 3 seconds.
The communication module's WLAN connection can
now be reset within the next 20 minutes.
2. Wait until the charging system is ready for operation
(Status LED of the charging system lights up blue).
3. Press the Connect button on the communication
module for approx. 3 seconds until the LED briefly
lights up red. Release the Connect button.
The LED flashes red five times. The existing WLAN
connection will be reset. A new WLAN connection
can be established as soon as the LED lights up yellow.
4. If necessary, carry out the steps from the "Setting up
the network connection" chapter.
Resetting the communication module to the factory
settings
Resetting to the factory settings will delete custom
settings such as authentication, taught-in RFID cards
or WLAN passwords.

If there is no LAN connection:
• Check LAN cable connection.
Perform the following steps to reset the communication
module to the factory settings:
1. Switch off the power supply for the charging system
and then switch it back on after 3 seconds.
The communication module's factory settings can
now be restored within the next 20 minutes.
2. Wait until the charging system is ready for operation
(Status LED of the charging system lights up blue).
3. Press the Connect button on the communication
module and hold it for 15 seconds until the display
LED lights up red twice.
4. Release the Connect button.
The communication module restarts and is reset to
the factory settings. This can take up to 90 seconds.
5. If necessary, carry out the steps from the "Setting up
the network connection" chapter.
Hardware reset
You can restart the communication module by per-
forming a hardware reset. Your custom settings will be
retained. Using a pointed object, press the Reset button
on the communication module for 1 second.
