PROBLEMS

POSSIBLE CAUSES
The filter holder is clogged.
The coffee grounds are too
fine.
The seal on the head of the
filter holder is clogged.
The coffee grounds are too
old.
The ground coffee is
not suitable for making
espresso.
There is too little coffee in
the filter holder.
The valve at the bottom
of the tank is dirty or
defective.
The valve is blocked by the
calcified deposits.
There is an internal leak.
No water in the tank.
The filter holder is not
positioned correctly.
The edge of the filter holder
is clogged by the coffee.
SOLUTIONS
Clean the filter holder using
hot water.
Use slightly larger coffee
grounds.
Clean the filter holder
and the seal with a damp
sponge.
Use freshly ground coffee.
Use finer grounds.
Add more coffee.
Wash the water tank and
operate the valve with your
finger, which is beneath the
tank.
Descale your machine
following the user
instructions provided.
Check that the tank is
positioned correctly. If
the problem persists, do
not use the appliance and
consult an approved service
centre.
Fill the water tank and
restart the pump (refer to
the section: FIRST USE).
Avoid emptying the tank
completely.
Fit the filter holder in
position and lock it (turn
from left to right until it
stops).
Remove any excess coffee
that prevents you from fully
locking the filter holder.
Remove the excess coffee
and clean the grill through
which the water flows using
a damp sponge.
