4. Hold the auger maintenance tool and turn the auger
counterclockwise 5 full turns. The cause of the
blockage is sent down and out of the auger.
5. Pull the auger maintenance tool out and put it back
into the holder on the bottom of the collector.
6. Lower the collector to operating position and start
the engine.
7. If the symbol on the auger button is red and the
product beeps when the engine starts, stop the
engine.
8. Put the cutting deck in servicing position and
manually remove blockage from the auger inlet.
9. Put the cutting deck in mowing position and start the
engine.
10. If the symbol on the auger button is red and the
product beeps when the engine starts, stop the
engine.
11. Let an authorized service agent help you.
Note:
When the blockage is removed, the product
starts in non-collect mode and you must select collect
mode again.
To clean around the sensor for
collector full
After many hours of operation, grass can collect around
the sensor for collector full. If the auger control switch
does not identify when the collector is full, it is necessary
to clean around the sensor.
1. Open the collector hatch.
2. Loosen the cover clips on the inner top surface of
the collector.
3. Remove the cover on top of the collector.

4. Remove grass from around the sensor for collector
full with your hand or a brush.
5. Put the cover back. First put in the front end of the
cover and then push the cover down until it clicks
into position.
Note:
Speak to a service agent if the problem
continues also when the sensor for collector full is clean.
To remove the covers
Engine cover
Tilt the collector to access the engine cover, remove the
3 screws and lift off the cover.
Front cover
Release the clip on the front cover with the tool attached
to the ignition key, and lift off the cover.
