To remove the covers

To remove and install the engine cover

1. Fold the seat forward.
2. Release the 2 clips on the engine cover with the tool
attached to the ignition key.
3. Remove the screws from the hinges.
4. Fold the engine cover rearward.
5. Install in opposite sequence.
To remove and install the front cover of the
cutting deck
1. Remove the cutting deck. Refer to
cutting deck on page 15 .
2. Remove the 2 screws and remove the front cover of
the cutting deck.
3. Install in opposite sequence.

To remove and install the side cover of the
cutting deck
1. Remove the cutting deck. Refer to
2. Remove the 2 screws (A) on the side cover of the
3. Loosen but do not remove the screw (B).
4. Turn and remove the side cover of the cutting deck.
5. Install in opposite sequence.
To remove and install the frame tunnel cover
1. Move the seat rearward. Refer to
2. Remove the 4 screws and remove the frame tunnel

To remove and install the right footrest plate
1. Remove the frame tunnel cover. Refer to
2. Turn the knob on the rearward drive pedal (A) to
3. Remove the 3 screws (B).
4. Loosen the edges of the footrest plate (C).
5. Remove the footrest plate.
