3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before starting the pump:
- Make sure that the mains voltage and frequency are the same as on the rating plate.
- Make sure that the capacitor matches the pump motor requirements (for single-phase motors).
- Make sure that the pump is fully submerged (for submersible pumps).
- Check the direction of rotation.
- Never run the pump dry.
- Never change the position of the level switch set by the manufacturer.
It is recommended to install a pipe with a larger diameter than the pump drive to reduce friction
losses as much as possible.
Install a check valve at the pump outlet to prevent the pipe from draining every time the pump
stops. Avoid bends and turns in the piping and ensure a correct connection between the piping
and the pump drive. Both cases affect the correct operation and performance of the pump.
4. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
The single-phase motor includes a thermal protector. For three-phase motors, protection must be
provided by the user or installer.
- The plug on the pump cable must match the socket. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not
use any adapter plugs. Unmodified plugs and matching plugs will reduce the risk of electric
shock.
