on the tubes and that the tubes are correctly immersed in
the correct containers.
✓ Open the water mains tap and check that there is water.
Switch on the mains power switch.
Close the hood of the machine.
To switch on the machine, just press the ON / OFF button (Fig. 7, 8 & 9) for 2 seconds.
As an indicator of the start-up of the appliance, where applicable:
The ON LIGHT (Fig. 7) will come on.
The WASH TEMP / RINSE TEMP (Fig. 7 & 8) indicators will activate. They will show the
message FILL until the tank is full.
In model MOD "C" the DISPLAY is activated (Fig. 9) indicating that the machine is filling. The
START button (Fig. 9) will light red until the machine is ready and turns green.
WARNING: DO NOT INSERT HANDS AND/OR TOUCH THE INTERNAL PARTS OF THE TANK WHILE
THE MACHINE IS OPERATING AND WAIT 10 MINUTES AFTER THE WASH TANK
HAS DRAINED.

5.8 Filling and heating

The hood must be fully closed for the machine to start filling.
When the machine is switched on, the boiler and the wash tank are filled with water which is heated to the
correct wash and rinse temperatures.
On models with WASH TEMP and RINSE TEMP (Fig. 7 & 8)
thermometers the following message (FILL) will be displayed while the
tank is filling. When the tank is full this message will be replaced by the
corresponding temperatures.
Model MOD "C" (Fig. 9) will display the fill message corresponding to the configured language while filling
the tank.

The MOD "B" and MOD "C" appliances are fitted with a thermostatic filling system, so that the filling
process is a cyclical repetition of the following sequence: fill boiler, preheat and partially fill wash tank. This
system allows the machine to be filled more quickly as it uses the boiler's increased power to heat the
water.
The filling and heating process lasts several minutes. The exact time depends on the temperature of the
incoming water and the power of the machine; the machine is ready to start washing the dishes when:
MOD "A" appliances without thermometers: when the L2 (Fig. 7) pilot light comes on, corresponding to
the P2 cycle defined by default, indicating that the tank has exceeded 55 ºC / 131 ºF. This light will
move to the button of the last cycle used. If the tank temperature drops too low, the indicator light
will turn off until the tank returns to the proper temperature.
MOD "A" and MOD "B" appliances with thermometers: the thermometers indicate temperatures
between 55 - 65 ºC / 131 - 149 ºF in the wash tank WASH TEMP (Fig. 7 & 8) and between 80 - 85
ºC / 176 - 185 ºF in the boiler RINSE TEMP (Fig. 7 & 8). When the tank exceeds 55 ºC / 131 ºF, the
L2 pilot will light up, corresponding to the P2 cycle defined by default. This light will move to the
button of the last cycle used.
MOD "C" appliances: the START button (Fig. 9) changes from red to green when the filling process
has finished, and the correct wash and rinse temperatures have been reached.
During the first heating of the day, the boiler may reach higher temperatures than
normal due to the heating inertia as the boiler water is cold. This is normal.

5.9 Preparation of the dishes

To correctly prepare the dishes to be washed, proceed as follows:
• Remove the largest pieces of waste food from the dishes before placing them in the baskets.
• Pre-wash the dishes with jets of water to remove waste such as olive stones, toothpicks, grease, etc.
