Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING!
• To prevent the risk of electrocution, turn off and unplug
the unit from the wall socket before cleaning.
• Make sure the unit is out of the reach of children and
pets and allow it to cool down completely (at least 10
minutes) before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the unit's power cable, plug or base
in water or any other liquids as they contain electrical
components. Do not rinse them under the tap.
• Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning
agents, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads
to clean the unit.
• Clean the unit after each use to avoid any accumulation of food
residues.
Disassemble the unit and clean it as follows:

Cleaning method
Clean with a slightly damp cloth and if necessary, a little
detergent, then dry.
NOTE: Make sure no water or moisture enters the electrical parts
in the base.
Remove any food from the heating element with a brush and then
wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth and dry.
Clean with warm soapy water and dry. To remove stubborn stains,
soak for 5 minutes, then clean.
NOTE:
• These items are dishwasher safe.
• Do not soak wooden utensils in water.
