Product usage
NOTE:
•
During use, the indicator light will switch between red and green as the unit
maintains the set temperature level.
•
Wait until the indicator light turns green before you start making the crepes
/ galettes / pancakes / blinis.

Before you make each crepe / galette / pancake / blini, apply a small amount of oil or
butter onto the hotplate using a heat-resistant basting brush.

Use the ladle provided to pour the batter onto the hotplate.
NOTE: Put an appropriate amount of batter to cover 2/3 of the crepe plate without
reaching its edge.

Turn the batter spreader in a circular motion to spread the batter thinly.
NOTE: For best results, clean the batter spreader between making each crepe /
galette / pancake. Place a jug with some water next to the crepe maker to easily
clean the batter spreader.
•
Let the batter cook for about 60 seconds before turning it over. The cooking time will vary
depending on the cooking temperature used and the thickness of the batter.
•
Gently slide the spatula provided under the edge of the crepe / galette / pancake / blini.
Quickly turn it over.
NOTE: To avoid scratching the non-stick hotplates, do not use metal utensils. Use
wooden or silicone utensils only.
•
Leave to cook until the desired browning of the crepe / galette / pancake / blini is achieved
(about 60 seconds).
•
To keep crepes / galettes / pancakes / blinis warm, put the crepe maker on the lowest
heating setting.
•
After cooking, add toppings to the crepe / galette / pancake / blini when it is placed on a
serving plate and not while it is on the hotplate.
11.
After use, turn the thermostat knob to the 0 (OFF) position.
12.
Unplug the unit and let it cool completely before cleaning and storing.
