Cleaning and maintenance
CAUTION!
• To prevent the risk of electrocution, turn off and unplug
the unit from the mains socket before cleaning.
• Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning it.
• Take care when cleaning the sharp blade.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the unit,
its power cable or plug in water or any other liquid, as
they contain electrical components. Do not rinse them
under the tap.
• Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning
products, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads
to clean the unit.
• If the jug is hot (e.g. you have just blended hot soup),
do not place it in cold water.
• Half-fill the unit with soapy water, reposition the lid and select
the CLEAN programme to rinse the jug.
• Disassemble the unit and clean it as follows:

• Once clean, dry all parts well.

Storage

• Always unplug the unit before storing it.
Cleaning method
• Clean with a sponge dampened in soapy water.
• To remove stubborn stains, pour hot soapy water into
the jug and leave to soak for 15 minutes to let the food
residue soften. Pour out the water and wipe the inside
of the jug with a soft, damp cloth.
• Clean it with a soft, damp cloth.
