socket not equipped with an earthing conductor may lead to spark production, which may cause fi re or electric shock. The connec-
tion system must be equipped with a residual current circuit breaker with a tripping current of not more than 30 mA.
The operator should take protective measures against electrostatic discharge phenomena. In particular, he should ensure proper
earthing of his own body. Use anti-static bands and other means provided for proper earthing of the operator. It is required that the
earthing system is made by a qualifi ed specialist.
A list of materials used for designing the device is available on request to authenticate compatibility with the coating materials
used.
Due to the fact that the device may have an impact on health, as well as its use carries the risk of fi re and explosion, it can only
be used in a well-ventilated area.
Inspect the hose connecting the unit to the spray gun before each use. If damage such as cracks, punctures, distortions, bubbles
or any other damage is noticed, replace the hose before starting work. The damaged hose cannot be repaired and must be
replaced entirely.
Avoid contact of the hose with sharp or hot objects. Do not place any objects on the hose. Do not bend or squeeze the hose.
The hose can move during operation due to high pressure. Take preventive measures so that the moving hose does not pose a
risk of cutting or impact.
If touching a hot surface is unavoidable, wear personal protective equipment preventing burns.
Observe the recommendations and instructions for the safe storage of solvents or dissolved coating materials or fl ammable
coating materials or auxiliary materials. Observe the data in the safety data sheets for hazardous substances. For example,
requirements for storage space, storage conditions, stored quantities and marking of materials stored together. Observe proper
marking of the container. Observe the environmental protection requirements, for example for storage areas. Limit the amount of
coating or auxiliary materials in workplaces to a minimum.
Use additional protective equipment when using hazardous substances.
The device has been designed and constructed in such a way that it does not pose a threat when properly operated. However,
in the event of damage or malfunction, it may pose a threat against which the adopted protective measures may not suffi ciently
protect.
It is forbidden to use the device in a manner prohibited in the instructions manual. In particular, it is forbidden to spray agents which
are prohibited in the instructions manual. Do not spray substances of unknown composition. It is forbidden to use the device for
other purposes than spraying coating materials. It is forbidden to direct the coating material jet towards the fi re. It is forbidden to
use the device as a pressure washer.
Before using the device, read other documents such as i.a. operating manuals or documents accompanying equipment and data
from safety data sheets for coating materials. Avoid hazards caused by spraying material and check the marking on the container
or the information supplied by the manufacturer on spraying material, including the requirements for the use of personal protective
equipment.
Due to the noise generated by the device, the operator and people present in the workplace should use hearing protection.
Do not use the gun without the nozzle cover installed.
Never use the device if any protecting elements or covers have been damaged.
Only use original spare parts and carry out any repairs at an authorised workshop.
Disconnect the device from the mains and release the pressure that may occur inside the system before performing any servicing
works and when it is not used.
Warning! A high-pressure jet can cause severe skin damage. Never allow any part of the body to come into contact with the jet.
Protective clothing does not provide suffi cient protection against injuries in the form of injections. In case of injection of a high-pres-
sure jet under the skin, immediately consult a physician. Inform the physician about the type of substance injected.
The coating material sprayed with the product should be free of any impurities. Make sure that no contaminants get into the coat-
ing material during operation. The suction hose is equipped with a strainer. Do not use the hose without the fi lter or with a defective
fi lter. Contaminants entering the product internal part can cause serious damage, which can cause serious injuries.
Do not eat, drink or smoke in the working area.
Never leave the device unattended during operation. In case of breaks during work, disconnect the device from the power supply
by pulling out the power cord plug from the mains socket.

PREPARING FOR OPERATION

CAUTION! Only install the equipment when the supply voltage is disconnected. Pull the power cord plug from the socket!
CAUTION! Before each start-up of the unit, add 3-4 drops of #45 oil intended for vacuum pumps to the oil fi ller (XVI). Oil poured in
this way does not come into contact with the coating material and is only used to lubricate the coating material pump mechanism.
Unpack the product and remove all packaging components, including protective fi lms if used, before assembly. Take particular
care to ensure that no packaging residue or other contaminants get inside the hose and the hose connectors in the gun and unit.
Connecting the gun to the unit
Caution! To connect the gun to the unit, use only the hose supplied with the product or the YATO YT-82656 hose.
