The installation and replacement of the electric
system components requires an advanced techni-
cal knowledge and may therefore be beyong the
skills of most users.
Always take your bicycle to an authorized dealer
for the diagnosis, repair and installation of the
electric system components. Damage to the com-
ponents derived from incorrect installation may
void the warranty on such components.

Dropper seatpost
Depending on the Shimano display option selected on
Urrun (SC-EM800 or SC-E5003), the components connec-
lever changes.
The Shimano EP8 motor uses a EW-SD300 Di2/STEPS ca-
bling standard.
On assemblies with the SC-EM800 display, a 1200mm
EW-SD300 cable connects the motor to the display direct-
ly. The display connects to the SW-EM800-L handlebar re-
mote switch with two EW-SD300 cables, a 400mm cable
connects to the display and a 300mm EW-SD300 connects
to the remote. Both cables are joined by a EW-JC302 junc-
tion housed inside the handlebar.
On assemblies with the SC-E5003 display, a 1200mm
EW-SD300 cable connects the motor to a EW-JC302
junction housed inside the stem. Two EW-SD300 cables
(400mm and 300mm) joined by another EW-JC302 junc-
tion housed inside the handlebar, connect the SC-E5003
display to the JC302 junction inside the stem.

Urrun uses an OC HB-MP31 35mm han-
dlebar for internal STEPS and light remote
cable routing (see the Lights section on this
manual). Urrun is compatible with other
35mm handlebars without internal cable
routing. However, in case a different han-
dlebar is used, the cables to the SC-E5003
display, the remote handlebar switch or the
front light remote (option) need to be routed
outside the handlebar.
