If you press down on the foot switch, all of the LEDs will light up for 3 seconds (controller active)
and so will the two LEDs in the frame.
Attention! Do not look directly into the LEDs in the frame. Danger of being dazzled!
The controller will switch off automatically and all of the LEDs will go out if no other switch is
pressed within 30 seconds.

Coupling/decoupling the tools / spirals

Coupling:
 Push the tool / spiral until it engages with the coupling.
Decoupling:
 Push the segregation key into the bore and push the tool / spiral to the side out of the cou-
pling.
5.5

Commissioning

The pipe cleaning machine should solely be operated by instructed and au-
thorized personnel!
 Check the electrical installation at the work place!
 Connect up the foot switch and position it so that it can be easily reached and that all of the
controls are easy to operate.
 Slide the battery into the housing and check that it is securely seated.
5.6 Operation
The pipe cleaning machine is only to be used after taking into account all of
the notices concerning safety of people and the machine!
Moving the spiral into the pipe:
 Place the machine at a distance of about 1 m to the opening of the pipe that has to be
cleaned.
 Slide the guide tube over the spiral and up to the stop on the feed unit and then use the
catch to lock it in place.
 Attach a suitable tool at the front. Select the tool according to the type of dirt to be removed.
Ensure that it is seated correctly, i.e. the pin must sit in the hole in the tool!
Put on gloves and safety goggles before handling anything else!
Attention! Only use correct spirals!
 Hold the guide tube with the spiral in your hand and then use the foot switch to switch the
machine on (see Section 5.3).
 Switch the rotational direction to clockwise and then use the foot switch to start the machine
(within 10 seconds).
 Use the +/- buttons to set the speed level. Select the speed level according to the working
process (unblocking, cleaning, spin-cleaning). The LEDs will light up according to your se-
lection.
