Displays Steps
1. Press the "Service" button and also the
"Coffee strength" button for longer
than 2 seconds.

2. Empty the drip tray and the coffee
grounds container (see section 4.8

grounds container on page 22).
3. Insert the drip tray without the coffee
grounds container.

The appliance indicates that:
ū the cleaning programme is
running
ū the first programme stage is
reached
ū the drip tray and the coffee
grounds container must be
emptied.
The appliance indicates that the
second program stage is reached.
The appliance rinses twice.
The flashing display requests you
to remove the brewing unit and
insert a cleaning tablet.
