TENS
Uses mechanisms of the nervous system to alleviate both acute and chronic pain. Impulses travel
along the nerves to block the pain propagation paths. This analgesic effect occurs during program
execution and can last for a few hours. However, its duration may vary. The TENS programs also
improves circulation. Place the electrodes on the painful area. These programs can be used in any
situation requiring pain relief. Caution! TENS programs alleviate the pain but do not eliminate the
cause. If the pain persists, seek medical advice.
TENS (Antalgic-Endorphinic): Allows pain relief and effective muscle relaxation. TENS programs
use mechanisms of the nervous system to alleviate both acute and chronic pain. Impulses travel
along the nerves to block the pain propagation paths. Muscular relaxation improves blood circu-
lation. It can be used in any situation requiring both pain relief and muscle relaxation. Caution!
TENS programs alleviate the pain but do not eliminate the cause. If the pain persists, seek me-
dical advice.
Intensity: ANALGIC TENS: tingling but not painful sensation. Should not induce muscular contrac-
tions. ENDORPHINIC TENS: visible muscular vibrations.
TENS (Cervical pains, Lumbago, Periarthritis, Epicondylitis, Sciatica,...): Uses mechanisms of the
nervous system to alleviate both acute and chronic pain. Impulses travel along the nerves to block
the pain propagation paths. This program combines stimulation with light contractions that stimu-
late the release of endorphins. Caution! TENS programs alleviate the pain but do not eliminate
the cause. If the pain persists, seek medical advice. Intensity: tingling but not painful sensation.
REHAB
Resumption of physical activity after a period of interruption. After a trauma or other interruptions
of physical activity, muscles may lose their tone and mass. In these cases, normal muscular ca-
pacity must be regained as soon as possible. The program enables training of specific muscles
concerned.
It can be used in any situation requiring activity resumption. Intensity: low to intermediate.
PREVENTION PROGRAMS
The stimulation is aimed at neuromuscular facilitation, which especially improves the mobilization
of the injured articulation. Prepares the limb to resume its normal functionality. It is recommen-
ded to use this program during the first phases of the recovery of muscular trophism. Intensity:
intermediate.
INCONTINENCE
Programs recommended for the stimulation of perianal muscles.
These programs are recommended in case of urological pain or incontinence.
Programs to be used with probes in compliance with the law.
