Coolant level

•
Do not use the vehicle if the coolant level is below the maximum mark.
•
When carrying out maintenance operations, it is advisable to wear latex gloves.
•
Bring your motorcycle to an official F.B Mondial dealer to replace the coolant.
Coolant solution is 50% water and 50% antifreeze fluid.
This is the ideal mixture for most operating temperatures and provides good corrosion protection.
It is advisable to use the same mixture even in hot weather as this minimizes loss due to evaporation and the need of frequent fills.
Thus, less evaporated water means fewer mineral salt deposits in the radiators, which helps preserve the efficiency of the cooling
system. When the external temperature drops below zero degrees centigrade, check the cooling system frequently and add more
antifreeze solution if needed (up to 60% max.).
Use distilled water in the coolant mixture to avoid damaging the engine.
CAUTION
•
Do not remove the coolant reservoir cap when engine is hot since coolant is under pressure and very hot.
•
Wait for engine cooled down, before checking or topping up coolant level.

Shut off the engine and wait until it cools off.

Park the motorcycle on safe and level surface.
