ADJUSTING THE OPTICAL COMPARTMENT
Movements of the optical compartment and the
shield are independent. This enables the light
source to be concealed to avoid dazzle.
To facilitate adjustment of the optical compar-
tment, remove it completely (fig. 19), rotate it to
the final position then adjust the orientation
(inserting it into the recess) as required.
In particular, with the optical compartment fully
inset (fig. 17), to adjust:
extract the anti-glare attachment completely
(fig. 18); line up the position of the optical com-
partment with the anti-glare attachment (fig. 19),
then adjust the spotlight to the required direc-
tion.
FITTING/REPLACING THE LAMP
Turn the electricity off at the
mains and follow the
instructions given below.

Self-ballasting lamps:
– BRITESPOT GX10 (35W),
– HI SPOT GZ10 (50W max)
rotate the safety reflector anticlockwise and
remove (fig. 15);
Insert/replace the lamp with one of equal
rating as the ballast (see rating plate)
replace the reflector correctly (fig. 15) by
rotating clockwise;
NB: Always make sure the safety glass is undama-
ged and is firmly attached to the ring.
