To operate the air conditioner, aim the remote control to the signal
receptor. The remote control will operate the air conditioner at a
distance of up to 7 m when pointing at the signal receptor of indoor
unit.
To obtain an appropriate signal transmission between remote con-
trol and indoor unit, keep the signal receiver away from direct sun-
light or other strong lights or heat.
Flat panel television sets or other electrical appliances could inter-
fere with the remote control signal.
Additionally, the air conditioner will not operate if curtains, doors or
other materials block the signal from the remote control to the in-
door unit. If the signal is not transmitted properly, either move
these objects or consult your local dealer.
When the equipment is turned on, try to reduce the heat load pro-
duced by excessive lighting or by appliances unnecessarily turned
on.

Each time the MODE pad is pressed, the operation mode changes
following this sequence:
MODE
COOLING DRY FAN ONLY HEATING
IMPORTANT: The HEATING mode is NOT available on COOLING
ONLY models.
