4.7 Selecting Analogue / Digital Mode

Measuring the characteristics of a channel depends, in the first place, on the type
of modulation: analogue or digital.
Use key
switching to a new modulation, the PROLINK-3/3C
measurement configuration used for that modulation.
Also it is possible to switch between analogue and digital modes by means of
System & Standard from function menu.

4.8 External Units Power Supply (EXT. SUPPLY)

The PROLINK-3/3C
external units (antenna preamplifiers, in the case of terrestrial TV, LNB in the case of
satellite TV, or IF simulators).

To select the supply voltage of the external units, press key
screen will display a functions menu labelled EXT. SUPPLY listing the choice of
voltages (which will depend on the band being used). Turn the rotary selector [4] to the
desired voltage and press to activate it.
