Hold the tool by the main handle (31) and the front handle
(3) to guide the saw properly.
Switching on and off (fi g. A)
For safety reasons, your tool's ON/OFF switch (1) is equipped
with an activation lock (2). Press on the activation lock to
release the switch. To turn the device on, press the ON/
OFF switch (1). When the ON/OFF switch is released, the
activation lock reactivates automatically to prevent the tool
from switching on unintentionally.
WARNING: Do not switch the tool on or off while
the saw blade is touching the work piece or other
materials.
WARNING: Do not activate the spindle safety
guard while the tool is running.
Holding and guiding the power tool
(Fig. A)
For best results, clamp the work piece with the rear side
to the saw shoe (clean cutting edge lies underneath).
Use the markings (13) to follow the line drawn on the
work piece.
In the case of a tilt angle of 45°, use the marking (12) to
follow the line drawn on the work piece.
Guide the power supply cord in a line behind the tool.
Dust extraction (fi g. A)
Your tool is equipped with a chip ejector (5).
Whenever possible, connect a dust extraction device
designed in accordance with the relevant regulations
regarding dust emission.
Only use a chip extractor that complies with the guide-
lines applicable to sawing wood. The extraction hose
of most commonly available dust extractors can be
connected directly to the chip ejector.
WARNING: When sawing metal, never use a dust
extractor without appropriate spark protection.

Maintenance
Repairs to this device must be made only by Adolf WÜRTH
GmbH & Co. or by someone authorized by them.
Only original replacement parts must be used.
Replacement parts
If — in spite of meticulous manufacturing and testing proc-
esses — the unit fails, then the repairs must be carried out by
a WÜRTH-authorized facility for power tools. Please provide
the item number given on the unit's nameplate whenever you
have an enquiry or if you want to order replacement parts.

requested from your nearest WÜRTH branch offi ce.
Disposal
Power tools, accessories and packaging should be recycled
in an environmentally compliant manner.
For EU countries only:
Do not discard power tools with ordinary
household refuse!
According to European directive 2002/96/EC on used
electrical and electronic devices and its implementation in
national law, power tools that are no longer in service must
be collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally
compliant manner.
Warranty
For this WÜRTH device, we off er a warranty from the date
of purchase according to the legal/country-specifi c regula-
tions. (A receipt or packing slip serves as proof of purchase).
Damage is handled through repair or replacement. Damage
traceable to incorrect handling is excluded form this warranty.
The warranty does not apply to consumable materials, such
as batteries or sensors.
Claims can be honoured only if the device is handed over
undismantled to a WÜRTH subsidiary, a WÜRTH fi eld em-
ployee or a WÜRTH-authorised customer service facility for
electrical devices.
Liability for function and damages
In all cases, liability for the device's operation falls to the
owner or operator if the device is maintained or repaired by
persons who are not authorized by Adolf WÜRTH GmbH &
