Teeth replacing

The damaged teeth have to be removed from their seat (4) by carrying out the following operations:
Remove the rake (1) from the connection after unscrewing the two screws (13) fixing the plate (12).
Clam the support (4) in a vice and shorten the damaged tooth (3) up to 2 cm.
By means of a rubber hammer hit the top of the tooth (3) till it gest out of its seat (Picture I)
Put the new tooth (3) into its seat, being careful to hook the plastic small protrusion to the teeth holder side (Picture L).
Re-assemble the rake onto the connection.
6.1.4

Storing the tool

Before storing the tool for a prolonged time, carry out the following operations:
Take the harvesting head to an Authorised Service Point for being cleaned and greased.
Do not leave the tool in the rain. Store it inside its box in a dry place.
6.2

Special maintenance

WARNING!
Any special maintenance operation shall be carried out by an Authorised Service Point of the Manufacturer only.
6.3

Periodic maintenance schedule

Maintenance
Check the screws for proper tightening.
Clean the harvesting head and bushing lubrication
with spray grease indicated by the Manufacturer.
Thorough overhaul by an Authorised Service Point
of the Manufacturer.
7.1

Disposal of exhaust materials

After having been installed and during use, the machine does not cause any environmental pollution. However,
throughout its working life, some types of residual waste or exhaust materials (such as filters, oil, etc.) are being
produced in certain maintenance situations.
There are specific regulations in every Country as for the disposal of these materials and the environment protec-
tion. The Customer is required to be knowledgeable in the Laws in force in his own Country and to operate only
while complying with these regulations, according to the indications in the product technical charts, which may
be obtained from the Manufacturer.

The Laws in force about the disposal of mineral oils must be followed.

stances.
The steps employed in the disposal of toxic waste including the collecting, transporting, processing (transfor-
mation for recycling), as well as the deposit and the dumping onto the ground are all usual activities of common
interest and are subject to the following general principles:
a)
Any risks of injuries or dangers for the health and safety of any individual and of the community
have to be avoided.
b)
Compliance with any and all hygienic-sanitary requirement and avoidance of any air, water, ground
and underground pollution have to be guaranteed.
Compliance with efficient and economical principles in order to save and recycle energy and materials shall be
promoted.
7.2

Indications for special waste

Special waste is that deriving from industrial processes as well as from materials of dismantled equipment and
deteriorated and obsolete machineries.
The special (also toxic and harmful) waste producers shall provide for its disposal directly or through qualified,
authorised companies or bodies, or shall deliver them to public service after having made an agreement.
