Call Tone
Your radio can transmit different call tones to other radios,
alerting users on the same channel and code that you are about
to talk. Your radio has 5 call tones to choose from.
1. To set your call tone press SEL/

the call tones while the setting number is flashing.
3. Press SEL/ 2 times to exit with the new call tone
selected.
4. To tranmit the selected call tone, press

time. The Call Tone will be cancelled when PTT is pressed.

Talk Confirmation Tone

When you enable this feature, your radio transmits a chirp when
you finish transmitting and release the PTT. It's like saying
'Roger' or 'Over', and lets others know you've finished talking.To
enable or disable this tone, Use the VOL/CH side button (+) as
you turn your radio on.

Troubleshooting

Heavy static • Radios too close. Radios must be at least 1.5
or metres apart.
