Safety devices

• ON/OFF button (11): Switches the tool on and off.
• Switched on display (9): Indicates that the tool is working and is powered by the battery.
• Active safety device (13): Engages itself automatically when the tool is not held and prevents from any accidental
tool operation.
• Releasing switch (6): Engages itself automatically when releasing the operating lever (7) and prevents from any
accidental tool operation.
• Bar guard (17): Protects the cutting bar during transport.
• Chain guard (15): Protects against any kickback effect.
• Hand guard (8): Protects the operator's hand against any contact with the chain (1), if this should break or get out
of the bar.
