HINWEIS
Observe the guidelines and requirements for trans-
porting lithium-ion batteries. Read about this in the
operating instructions of the battery manufacturer.
NOTE
Further information about the battery and the associa-
ted charging device can be found in the extra enclosed
operating instructions from the battery manufacturer.
4.6.8 Storing the battery
NOTE
Before storing, it is imperative that the battery be fully
charged.
During battery storage, the BMS must be switched
off so that the battery is not deeply discharged by the
BMS. To do this, both battery sockets must be free. I.e.,
no cable may be plugged into the battery.
During storage, the lithium cells are loaded by the ins-
talled balancer (component of the BMS). Therefore, the
battery must not be stored for longer than 3 months
without recharging under any circumstances.
If this is the case, it can be deeply discharged, destroy-
ing the individual cells.
The optimal storage is at low temperatures not below
0°C. Storage at 5°C to 10°C is optimal.

Electrically driven trolleys JLA-e 5/12 G with stroke and JLA-e 15/30 G with stroke
4.6.9 Loading the trolleys
Before the start of the lifting procedure, the centre of
gravity must first be determined. The trolley always
must be positioned closer to the centre of gravity than
the steering gear, since a stable three-point bearing
can only be achieved in this way. Otherwise, tipping or
slipping can lead to injuries or even to fatal accidents.
Be sure to use the connecting rod for the individual
trolleys. As a result, the trolleys are guided parallel to
the load if the floor is even, clean, dry and without
steps. Otherwise, tipping or slipping can lead to injuries
or even to fatal accidents. Secure the transport load.
Never lift the load to be lifted on one side up to the
ground clearance since there is a big risk of tilting and
slipping if this is done.
Slowly and carefully lower the transport load onto the
trolley. There is risk of tipping and sliding.
