13. Safety Winch (optional)
The winch Safety Winch can be used together with the rescue device and a tripod to help lifting. The winch
is self-locking and can therefore be operated by one person alone without any difficulties.
13.1 Intended use
The hand winch is to support hoisting work on the loose side of the safety and rescue
system Swiss Roll or Safety Roll. The hand winch is fitted with a flange enabling it to be
fastened simply and securely to the tripod.

13.2. Safety information

The operating and maintenance instructions must be studied and followed.

IMPORTANT!

• These operating and maintenance instructions must be
followed in every detail whenever the hand winch is used.
• Practising and regular training are vital, as physical injury
may occur if the device is used incorrectly.
• An additional safety system must be used when practising
with people to prevent falls as a result of incorrect operation.
• No liability whatsoever can be assumed for operation
contrary to the instructions.
