Warnings for handling and assembly
Installation must be carried out exclusively by skilled personnel.
For the assembly we recommend using material and accessories provided by the manufacturer.
Before assembly and start-up make sure to be compliant with the laws and Standards in force in the installation country.
To lift up the collector we recommend using a suitable belt.
Do not lift the collector up using attachments or ends (fig. 1).
Protect collector, solar glass and pipe fixing points against strokes or mechanic actions.
Assembling a collector field on an existing roof implies a deep modification of said roof structure.
Roofings, such as standard tiles, bent tiles, shingles and slating, mostly on renewed and inhabited attics, or
!
where the roof minimum slope is below the allowed values (for roofing), require further building elements such
as waterproofing membranes to prevent water infiltrations due to the wind and snow pressure.
These structures and their connections to the wall side must be carried out on-site according to the local
situation.
The roof structure must be approved for possible wind and snow loads in the installation region.
4.2.
Statics
The product must be assembled on sufficiently rugged frames or roofs surfaces.
The roof or frame static capacity must be checked on site by skilled personnel before assembling the collectors.
During this operation carefully assess the roof suitability according to the collectors fixing systems.
Especially for areas subject to strong snow precipitations or wind it is necessary to check the whole structure built by the manufacture
which must comply with the laws and Standards in force in the installation country.
In such cases you have to consider all features of the assembly location (föhn, nozzle effect, vortex formation, etc.), that can cause higher
stress.
Indication: 1 cu. m of soft snow ~ 60 kg - 1 cu. m of wet snow ~ 200 kg.
The collector fields must be assembled so as to prevent snow accumulations - caused by snow grids or the position of other objects - from
reaching the collectors.
The collector distance from the roof edges and ridge caps must be of at least 1 m.
