Safety rules

During installation, use, maintenance, and any repair operations strictly follow the safety rules and Standards in
force in the installation country which shall be considered implied in this manual.

In particular, during installation, use, maintenance, and any repair operations on products installed on roofs or
in places entailing a risk of fall, use any accident-prevention equipment such as slings, rescue equipment,
protection nets or scaffolds, to prevent workers and material from falling down.
Use only safety equipment certified according to the rules and Standards in force in the installation country.
During assembly, maintenance, and any repair operations cover collector and assembly material to avoid their
overheating due to exposure to sun rays.

After system start-up, the fluid inside can reach a temperature above 100 °C. Pay utmost attention to avoid
scalds.
Nobody is authorised to modify the products, their components and accessories (if any).
The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for damages to people, animals, and things due to tampering to

or unsuitable actions on the product or system.
Always disconnect the system from the electric mains before any maintenance operation, check and repair.

As far as the lightning protection of the system or building the installation is carried out on is concerned,
respect the laws and Standards in force in the installation country, which shall be considered implied in this

manual.
We recommend to contact experts in the lightning protection field.
The metallic pipes of the power solar system must be connected by means of a green/yellow copper earth wire
with cross-section not lower than 16 sq. mm, with the potential main equalisation bar.
Earthing can be performed with an underground earth wire. The earth wire must be placed outside the building.
The earth plate must be connected to the potential main equalisation bar by means of a pipe of the same
diameter.
To lift up the collector we recommend using a suitable belt or other adequate equipment.

Do not lift up the collector using the attachments or the screw threads (fig. 1).
