It is recommended to connect maximum 8 collectors in series (A); 5 if connected with only one pipe (D).
Maximum 8 collectors divided into 2 groups connected in series can be installed on systems with sloping roofs €.
In the case of collector fields with several batteries in parallel (B), it is recommended to realize batteries consisting of groups containing
an equal number of collectors in order to maintain the same flow rate inside the circuit.
We also recommended to use the reverse return connection (B, C).

Piping

It is recommended to use brazed copper or steel pipes to connect the components of a solar panel system.
Galvanised pipes, that are not resistant to the water/glycol mix, and plastic or multilayer pipes, which do not withstand the high pressures
and temperatures reached by the system during operation should be avoided.
Pipes must be heat-insulated with materials resistant both to low temperatures (at least -20°C) and high temperatures (at least up to
+180°C).
Moreover, the coating material must resist weather and UV rays.
The table below shows the pipe diameters recommended according to the size of the collector field.

2.5 < A ≤ 7.5
7.5 < A ≤ 12.5
