Possible cause
CDF exceeded, machine is overheating
Mains fuse defective
Neutral conductor, mains phase missing
Ground cable not connected or defective Check the ground cable and replace, if necessary
Electrode holder or welding torch not
connected or defective
No or bad ground contact
Wrong electrode diameter
Welding current set too low
Tungsten electrode dirty or incorrectly
ground
Gas flow rate set incorrectly
Gas cylinder empty
Pressure reducer defective
Gas valve on welding torch not open or
defective

Remedy
Turn off the device. If all indicators have gone out,
wait at least 1 more minute in switched-off state.
Switch the machine on again. If the fault persists,
contact Service
Leave the machine switched on and allow to cool
Replace the fuse
Check mains cable/mains extension cable
Check the electrode holder or welding torch and
replace, if necessary
Ensure earthing contact is good
Select the right electrode diameter
Set welding current higher
Grind correctly or replace the electrode, if necessary
Set gas flow rate correctly
Replace the gas cylinder
Check, replace if necessary
Check, replace if necessary
