Dust/Chip Vacuuming
Dust produced while working can be detrimental to
I
health, inflammable or explosive. Suitable protec-
tion measures are required.
Examples: Some dusts are considered to be carci-
nogenic. Use suitable dust/chip extraction and
wear a dust protection mask.
Hook on the channel for dust extraction 6 at the rear
under the handle and latch onto the catches 8. Insert
the vacuum hose (35 mm dia.) directly into the cou-
pling of the channel (Fig.
).
K
The vacuum cleaner must be suitable for the material
to be worked.
When vacuuming dry dust that is especially detrimen-
tal to health or carcinogenic, use a special vacuum
cleaner.

stroke rate regulator 3.

English–2
Do not drill, fasten or cut into blind areas
where electric, gas or water lines may exist.
Use appropriate detectors to determine if
these lines are hidden in the work area or call
the local utility company for assistance.
Contacting electric lines may cause fire or electric
shock. Striking a gas line will probably result in ex-
plosion. Breaking into a water pipe will cause prop-
erty damage or may cause an electric shock.
When switching on, the saw blades must not
be resting against, come in contact with or
strike anything!
