DEVICE USE
3.3.1. MEASUREMENT INSTRUCTIONS
3.3.1.1. DC/AC VOLTAGE
1)
Connect the black test lead to the " COM " socket,
and the red test lead to the " VHz
socket.
~
2)
Turn the dial to "V
". Press SELECT key to return to
the selected DC/AC test
3)
Connect the probes to the source or load to be

EN
the red test lead to the "VHz
2)
Turn the dial to "Ω
".
3)
Connect the probes to the source or load to be
measured.
4)
Read the result from the LCD display.
Please note: Make sure that the circuit under test is not live.
Maximum load: 250 V rms <10 s
Note:
To measure a resistance above 1MΩ, a stable reading
may take a few seconds to obtain.
When the input is not connected, i.e. the circuit is
open, the number "OL" will be displayed if the range
is exceeded.
When testing a circuit resistance, make sure that the
circuit under test is completely disconnected from
the power supply and that all capacitors have been
completely discharged.
3.3.1.3. THE DIODE TEST AND ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT
CONTINUITY TEST
1)
Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and
the red test lead to the "VHz

4)
Press the "SELECT" button to select the diode test.
5)
Connect the black and red test leads to the cathode
(-) and anode (+) of the diode to be tested, read the
voltage drop from the display.
6)
Press "SELECT" to select the electrical circuit
continuity test.
7)
Connect the probes to the circuit to be tested. The
acoustic signal will be continuous if the resistance is
less than approximately 100Ω.
Note:
Make sure that the circuit under test is not energized.
Maximum load: 250 V rms <10 s
3.3.1.4. THE ELECTRICAL CAPACITY MEASUREMENT
1)

the red test lead to the "
2)
Turn the dial to "
".
3)
Connect the probes to the part being tested.
4)
Read the result from the LCD display.
Note:
The capacitors should be discharged before
measurement.
30Ω
When
testing
high-capacity
1,8kΩ
measurement takes longer before the final value
is shown (for the 100uF range it will take about 15
230Ω
seconds).
When testing capacitors with low capacitance (≤
1uF), to ensure measurement accuracy, first press
"REL" and then continue the measurement.
Maximum load: 250 V rms <10 s.
3.3.1.5. FREQUENCY MEASUREMENT

2)
Set the dial to the "Hz" range position
3)
Set the selected test with the "Hz/%" button: Hz
(frequency) or Duty (duty cycle).
4)
Connect the probes to the source or load to make
the measurement.
5)
Read the result from the LCD display.
3.3.1.6. TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT
" jack.
1)
Turn the dial to "°C/°F".
2)
Connect the black test lead to the " COM " socket

3)
Connect the probe to the selected temperature
measurement location.
4)
Read the result from the LCD display.
Maximum load: 250 V rms <10 s
A.
The temperature function indicates a random
number. In order to take a measurement, place the
thermocouple at the measuring point
B.
Do not replace the thermocouple with a different
one.
C.
High temperatures should be measured using
a probe designed to test high temperatures
3.3.1.7. DC / AC MEASUREMENT
1)
Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and
the red test lead to the following jacks:
"20A" for the range from 2A to 20A,
"μAmA / BATT" for the range up to 400ma.
~
2)
Set the dial to the selected "uA
" jack.
" range position. The preset function is for resistance
measurement. To change the function, press the
SELECT button to choose the diode test or electrical
circuit continuity test.
3)
Use the SELECT button to choose the DC or AC test.
4)
Connect the probes to the source or load to make
the measurement.
5)
Read the result from the LCD display. Together with
the DC measurement value, the polarization of the
red test lead will be indicated.
mA / BATT".

3.3.1.8. BATTERY TEST
1)
Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and
the red test lead to the "μAmA / BATT" jack.
2)
Turn the dial to "
3)
Connect the probes to the source or load to make
the measurement.
VHz" jack.
4)
Read the result from the LCD display. (The
measurement is positive when the charging current
is approx. 25 mA. When there is no charging current,
the measurement is negative).
3.3.1.9. PC-LINK
The meter has the function of serial data output. It can
components,
the
be connected to a computer via a USB interface thanks
to which measurement data can be registered, analysed,
processed and printed by the computer. Before using this
function, install the PC-Link software and USB driver on
your computer. (Note: the software is in English.)
1)
Install the software included on the CD.
2)
When the device is turned on, the "PC-Link" function
will appear on the display. If it goes out, it should be
activated with the "PC-Link" button.
3)
Connect the computer to the device using a USB
cable.
VHz "jack.
4)
The "PC-Link" software must be run on the computer.
Open the "SET" menu, select SET PART. Then select
the appropriate COM port.
5)
Select the default sample rate or select another
desired sample rate. Press the OK button to complete
the settings.
6)
Press Start in PC-LINK SOFT to measure and display
synchronized data or graphs in the software
interface.
7)
To turn off the data connection function, press the
"PC-LINK" button so that the "PC-LINK" symbol
disappears from the display.

3.3.2. DIRECTIONS FOR USE

If the indication range is exceeded, the message "OL"
will be displayed.
The device turns off automatically after 15 minutes
of inactivity. Press SELECT button to deactivate the
device automatic shutdown.
When the "

applied. A higher voltage can be shown but it
can destroy the internal circuits of the device or
cause an electric shock.

The maximum mA current is 400mA and the
maximum for 20A is 20A. Exceeding these limits
will destroy the fuse. Since the 20A range is not

protected, the measurement time should be
less than 1 second to prevent the circuit from
overheating.
Be careful when measuring high voltages because of
the risk of electric shock.

3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

a)
Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
b)
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
c)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
d)
Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
it in water.
e)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical efficiency and spot any damage.
f)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
g)
Do not leave the battery in the device if it will not be
used for a longer period of time.
".
h)
Protect the device against moisture. If it is wet, wipe
it dry immediately. Liquids may contain minerals
which can corrode electronic circuits.
i)
Use and store the device in standard temperature
conditions. Extreme temperatures can shorten the
life of the device, damage the batteries and deform
or melt plastic parts.
j)
Handle the device with care. Dropping it may damage
printed circuit boards and cause malfunctioning.
k)
Protect the device from dust and dirt.
l)
Use only new batteries of the size and type indicated
in the technical specifications. Before installing or
replacing the batteries, make sure that the device is
not connected to an external circuit, that the control
knob is set to "OFF", and that the test leads are
disconnected from the terminals.
m)
To avoid electric shock, disconnect the test leads
from the measuring circuits before replacing the
fuse.
To prevent fire, replace a blown fuse only with a fuse
whose rating is F-200mA / 250V.
n)
Do not use the device until the back cover is properly
closed and secured with a screw.
SAFE REMOVAL OF BATTERIES AND RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES
9V (6F22) batteries are installed in the devices.
Inserting a battery:
1.
Open the battery cover on the back of the device
with a screwdriver.
2.
