Lumbar support belt with reinforced proprioceptive effect
Purpose:
Reversa PROMASTER is a lumbar spine stabilising orthosis with back pad for treating
lumbar pain. The orthosis may only be used for lumbar spine treatment.
Properties:
• Brace made of elastic knit
• 2 stabilisation stays each at sides and back
• Possibility to fix a lumbar pad
• Grip pouch for easier fastening
• Latex-free
Indications:
Acute, sub-acute or chronic lumbar pain with or without nerve pain; Post-operative
lumbar and pelvic support; Individuals with a connective tissue disease (e.g.: Ehlers-
Danlos syn-drome); Fibromyalgia
Contraindication:
Do not apply the product in direct contact with broken skin.
Side effects:
No side effects are as yet known for correct use.
Fitting instructions:
Put on and close the belt with the help of the grip pouch at the left side.
Precautions:
Follow the advice of the professional who prescribed or supplied the product. Con-
sult your professional if discomfort occurs. Store at room temperature, preferably
in its original packaging. For hygiene and performance reasons, do not re-use the
product for another patient. Any serious incident that occurs in connection with the
product must be reported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the
Member State in which the user and/or patient are/is domiciled.
Washing instructions:
• Do not use detergents, fabric softeners or aggressive products (products
containing chlorine)
• Squeeze out excess water
• Dry away from heat sources
Composition:
78 % PA (polyamide), 14 % EL (elastane), 5 % CO (cotton), 2 % PU (polyurethane),
1 % PES (polyester)
Explanation of the reinforced proprioceptive effect:
Orthoses in the PROMASTER range have been developed to improve the therapeutic
effect - and, in particular, proprioception - on the joint. To achieve this, they activate
special skin receptors on the joint and improve the latter's muscle support, thanks to
innovative padding and an optimised compression effect.
