Diagram G2: How to close and lock the Gate Door.

Step 1:
Close the Gate Door.
Step 2:
Push Handle down. The Gate is now closed.
Step 3:
For added security, push back on the Safety Lock and then
push the Handle down. Release the Safety Lock so it is now
locking the Handle in position.
TO CLOSE
the small pet door, pull the knob out and shut the door. Once the locking
pin is aligned with the hole in the gate frame, release the knob.

Instructions for Gate Extension
Step 1.
Begin by determining which extension or combination of extensions are
required for your doorway opening.
Step 2.
Remove the 4 Threaded Spindle Rods from the ends of the gate frame.
Step 3.
Assemble the required extension, or extensions to the gate frame as
illustrated above.
Step 4.
Re-install the 4 Threaded Spindle Rods into the ends of the extensions you
just assembled to the gate frame.
Step 5.
Re-position your gate in the door opening and adjust it according to Steps 4
and 5 of the Gate Instruction Manual.
REMOVING YOUR GATE FROM THE WALL
To remove your gate from the wall begin by turning the Adjustment Wheels clock
wise until the flat plastic ends of the Threaded Spindle Rods come out from the Wall
Cups. This will free your gate from the wall.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Periodically check the gate for sign of damage, wear or for missing components.
Do not use if any part is missing, worn or damaged components.
Check the gate regularly to make sure all the hardware and mountings are tightened.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach.
Clean it by sponging with warm water and mild detergent.
90 Days Limited Warranty:
If, during the first 90 days after consumer purchase of this item, under reasonable and
non-commercial use and conditions of maintenance, it fails while owned by the original
purchaser because of the quality of materials or workmanship of finish and assembly,
Carlson Pet Products INC will replace or repair it at Carlson's option.
