The cartridge strengths specified here are based on
experience and may differ dependent on the quality
of the substrate.
Substrate and separations
The cartridge power suitable for the substrate must
be determined by performing a trial fastening. Start
with the weakest cartridge (green). For substrates
with extremely high tensile strengths/densities,
please contact your Würth customer service agent.

Minimum substrate thickness
Check the substrate thickness. The minimum penetra-
tion depth of the fastener and the minimum thickness
of the substrate must exist to ensure safe holding of
the fastening.

Minimum centre to centre and edge
distances of the substrate
At the penetration point the distance to free edges
must be sufficiently great that the sideways exiting of
the fastener is prevented.
The fasteners must be driven in sufficiently far apart
to prevent their coming out due to breaking or crack-
ing of the substrate material.

Selection of fasteners
Only use the fasteners recommended by Würth for
this tool (see accessories). Due to the constant new
development of fastenings, it is possible that not
all fasteners are shown. Therefore please ask your
Würth customer service advisor or see the latest
catalogue.
