Visual inspection

Tool and accessories
Inspect the tool and its parts visually before use.
• Wheel guard or backing Pad
• Adapters, nuts or flange washers depending on model.
• Flange washer
• Support handle
• Throttle lever
• Release holder
Look for any damages or oil leakage that can compromise the safety of the tool.
Air installation
Inspect the air installation from the supply point to the tool visually before
use.
• Hose
• Couplings
• System pressure
• Air filter
Look for any damage that can compromise the safety of the tool.

Replacing the sanding belt

1. Disconnect the air supply.
2. Open the wheel cover lid.
3. Push the arm holder until it locks.
4. Remove the sanding belt.
5. Make sure that the idle pulley runs smoothly and that the tension arm is un-
damaged and correctly attached.
6. Put the new sanding belt in position.
Make sure that the rotation direction marked inside the sanding belt is
the same as the rotation direction of the tool.
7. Push the stopper to stretch the sanding belt.
8. Connect the air supply to the sanding belt.
9. Operate the tool in free speed for approximately 30 seconds and make sure
that the sanding belt is moving correctly.
10. If necessary, adjust the sanding belt by repeating step 2 to 7.
