SPOT LIFT
73502_V3_19/01/2017
• During the first start, air will be confined in the hose and the jack. It is necessary to evacuate this air by lifting/
lowering the product load-free (without any load on the fork).
• Make sure that the hydraulic circuit is not leaking by lifting a load at low height.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
After connecting the jack's power supply and reviewing the precautions to be taken as well as the warnings, proceed
as follows:
The tool must be used only for vehicles with a weight inferior to 2.5T
2.5 t max.
It must not be used for vehicles equipped with a panoramic roof, that can be damaged during lifting.
Lifting:
• Before lifting, verify that the tyres' pressure is sufficient to maintain the vehicles'
balance.
• Check that the vehicle is blocked with the handbrake on. Check its efficacy.
• Position the jack so the fork is well adjusted on the sides of the wheel.
I • f using the lifting accessory for the lower body frame, check its positionning.
• Always check the good function of the lifting accessorries before lifting a vehicle.
• To raise the vehicle, action the pump by pressing on the pump's pedal on side A
• When the desired height is reached, release the pedal and secure the load by
placing the safety axis in the safety notch of the column (raise the safety cover).
• For extra safety, always place axle stands below the vehicle, in order to support
it.
• Press on the pump's pedal on side B so the load comes to rely on the safety axis.
Do not raise the jack above the maximum marker, to avoid reaching the end of the jack's course
(check picture below)
Lowering :
• Press the pump's pedal on side A to relase the safety axis.
• Remove the safety axis from its hole in the column
• Press the pump's pedal on side B to lower the vehicle to the ground or at the
desired height
• Remove the jack from the vehicle only once the jack is completely lowered.
• The vehicle can then be moved.
12
Once the column is fitted on the base, proceed with the assembly of the
hydraulic pump (see instructions provided with the pump).
Always have both hands on the handle when lifting and raising the fork.
Attention! Lock the carriage from the lifting column with the safety pin.
